LLANBEBLIG PARISH
1871 CENSUS

The 1871 Census transcription will cover the whole of the Parish of Llanbeblig, including the villages of Waenfawr and part of Bontnewydd, which are situated just outside the Town of Carnarvon.

The table below will show the progress of the project. Because the images I am working from are not of the best quality, any entries which are unclear will have to be checked against a microfiche copy. Ages are particularly bad on some pages where the pen marks made by the clerks extracting statistical data have hidden the original entries. The table will note whether each Enumeration District has been checked or not.

In the transcription, anything which is difficult to read and I am unsure of will appear in Blue.

The Chapman County Codes are used throughout. You can find these on GENUKI at: Chapman County Codes

Finally, please remember that this is a transcription, and therefore liable to contain some errors. Always check any household against the original returns. If you do find any errors, please let me know so that I can correct them.
