The Rev. Mr. Owens, Vicarage, Market Street; Mr. Griffiths, who came from Cae'rhun; the Rev. John Jones, who moved to Mynydd Ednyfed, Criccieth; the Rev. J. W. Trevor, who went to Llanbeulan, Anglesey; and the Rev. Thomas Thomas, who went to Ruabon, in 1859; and in 1861, the Rev. James Crawley Vincent is the Vicar of the parish. Mr. Foxwist, the parish priest of Llanfagdalen, lived in Castle Street, and the Rev. David Williams, the parish priest of Llanfair-is-gaer, lived at Penywrach, his son is Mr. Henry Williams, Surgeon, Llansantffraid. His grandchildren, the children of his son Robert, Relieving Officer, Llanbeblig parish, are David Henry, North America; William, America; Robert, Caernarfon, Anne, wife of Mr. John Rogers, Penywrach; Mary, wife of Mr. William Owen, Harbour Master; Sina, wife of Mr. John Richard Owen, Stone-cutter; Catherine, widow of Mr. Rowland Jones, Harp; Lumley, wife of Mr. John Roberts, Orchard House, Pont Seiont; Winefred, wife of Mr. John Jones, Caernarfon; and Louisa and Esther, Caernarfon.
