OBITUARY
Mr. William Hughes, printer, of this town, died in his 63rd. year. Deceased had been for years in the employnent of Mr. Hugh Humphreys as foreman in the printing establishment. In years gone by he was an able contributor to the Welsh press. Mr. Hughes was well known in town and much respected. His funeral took place at Llanbeblig churchyard on Thursday.

DEATH OF MR. WILLIAM JONES, PALACE-STREET
We regret to announce the death, on Tuesday last, in his 75th. year, of Mr. William Jones, flour dealer, Palace-street, after several weeks of severe illness. He was one of the old stock of Carnarvon tradesmen and was held in great respect among his fellow-townsmen. The deceased was a member of the Order of Oddfellows, and had been for many years one of the trustees of the Menai Lodge. Mr. Jones was a Conservative in politics and a regular attendant of the Moriah C.M. congregation and Sunday School, His remains are to be interred on Monday morning at Llanbeblig.

OBITUARY
We regret to announce the death of Mr. Robert Roberts, watchmaker, Pool-street, somewhat suddenly last Sunday morning. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss. Deceased, who was 56 years of age, was a faithful member of the Salem Independent church and a Sunday School teacher. He was at his shop on Saturday afternoon, and his sudden death caused a shock, not only to the members of the Salem congregation, but to the inhabitants of the town generally. The funeral took place on Thursday afternoon at Llanbeblig churchyard. The Rev. E. Herber Evans, D.D., officiated at the house and also at the grave, where he was assisted by the Revs. T. J. Teynon and Lloyd Bryniog Roberts. A large number of beautiful wreaths had been sent. The members of the Loyal Menai Lodge of Oddfellows, of which society deceased was a P.G.M., took part in the funeral procession, which was a very large one, there being general signs of regret and sympathy shown throughout the town.

DEATH OF A LOCAL ARTIST
We regret to announce the death, on Sunday, at the Cottage Hospital, of Mr. M. Leon, artist, who had resided at Carnarvon for many years. He was 63 years of age, and was held in high esteem by a large number of friends. His remains were interred in Llanbeblig churchyard on Wednesday morning, when the Vicar (the Rev. J. W. Wynne Jones, M.A.) officiated.

OBITUARY
We regret to announce the death of Mr. Trevor Evans, builder, Rose Cottage, Marcus-street, which took place last Monday evening. The deceased was well known throughout the town, and had carefully discharged the duties of clerk of works in connection with several public improvements in this borough and its neighbourhood; his last work being the superintendence of the erection of the Carnarvon Infectious Diseases Hospital. Great sympathy is felt with the family in their bereavement.

DEATH OF MRS. PRITCHARD, NORTH-ROAD
On Tuesday, Mrs. Pritchard, the widow of Mr. Owen Pritchard, who was a well-known inhabitant of Carnarvon, died at North-road, at the age of 71 years. Mr. and Mrs. Pritchard at one time kept the George Inn, Carnarvon, but they retired some years ago. The deceased was seized with a paralytic stroke about five weeks ago, and although she had been ailing ever since her demise took place rather suddenly. Deceased was a prominent and active member of Ebenezer Wesleyan Chapel. The funeral, which will be private, takes place at Llanbeblig to-morrow (Saturday). Deceased leaves an only surviving son, Mr. J. O. Pritchard.
