Borough of Carnarvon to wit:

Shop (from?) Gutter

The Jurors for our Lord the King upon their Oath present & say That there is a certain Gutter leading from the House or Kitchin of David Jones late of shopkeeper in the situate in the Parish Llanbeblig in the County of Carnarvon shopkeeper and within the said Borough of Carnarvon and Jurisdiction of this Court by which party and (...?...) water is conducted from the said House or Kitchin of the said David Jones into a certain Public Street in the Parish and Borough aford and within the Jurisdiction aforesaid called Tanybont Street The said Street being the Kings Common Highway to the Great Nuisance of the sd Kings Highway and to the Great Nuisance of the Subjects of our said Lord the King Therefore he is amerced Twelve Three pence and It is ordered commanded to him to stop up remove or stop up the same before the first of (......) next coming upon pain of five shillings /-

And the Jurors afrd upon their Oath afrd fur present & say - That Robert Gordon Roberts - hath of the Town & Borough afrd & within the Jurisdiction afrd made and Placed a certain Dunghill over & agit (......) house near the Kings Highway in The sd Street Called Tanybont Street the sd Street being the Kings Common Highway situate in the Parish afrd in the County afrd a certain (...?...) dunghil and within the Jurisdiction afrd Therefore h is amerced one Penny 6d and It is ordered Commanded to h that he remove the same before the first of (......) next coming upon pain of 5/0

And the Jurors afrd upon their Oath afrd fur present & say That hath (......) hath Continued a Certain Pigstie over & against his house near the Kings High way in the said Street called Tanybont Street The said Street being the Kings High way situate in the Parish afrd in the Co afrd within the Jurisdiction afrd Therefore he is amerced 6d And It is Commanded to him that he removes the same before the first of (.....) next upon pain of 5/-

And the Jurors afrd upon their Oath afrd fur present & say that from the time whereof the memory of man is not to the contrary the Liege Subjects Robert Parry Owen Williams of the Town and Borough of Carnarvon in the Parish afrd in the Co afrd & within the Jurisdiction afrd mariner on the (......) day of (......) in the 8 year of the Reign of our Lord the now King and on divers other days and times as well before as afterwards with force & arms at the Town and Borough afrd in the Parish afrd in the Co afrd & within the jurisdiction afrd in & upon the Kings Common Highway called Love Lane there & within the Jurisdiction afrd leading from a certain Place called Maes Glas in the Town & Borough afrd in the Parish afrd in the County afrd & within the Jurisdiction afrd called Henwalia to a certain other place called Henwalia there & within the Jurisdiction afrd called the Kings Common High Way Two Cart Loads of Rubbish hath put & placed & carried to be put & placed & the same Rubbish from the (.....) day of (......) in the year afrd until the day of (...?...) this Inquisition in & upon the said Kings Common High way afrd to he be (remain?) has permitted & Still doth permit Ten Cart Loads of Rubbish by reason whereof the sd Highway for the whole time afrd was Shortened & obstructed so that the Liege Subjects of of our said Lord the King could not so fully pass & repass about their lawful business through the sd Common Highway there & within the Jurisdiction afrd as they ought & have been accustomed to Therefore he is amerced 1/- And It is Commanded To the sd Owen Williams That do remove The said (...?...) the sd Rubbish from off the sd Highway before the first of (......) next coming upon Pain of 10/-

Cuts Holes or other obstacles whatever nevertheless one (......) late of the Parish of Llanb Town & Borough afrd & within the Jurisdiction afrd (...?...) on the (......) day of (......) in the (......) year of the Reign of our Lord the now King with force & arms at Love Lane afrd Love Lane afrd in The Town & Borough afrd & within the Jurisdiction afrd in the place afrd called Love Lane in & upon the Common Highway afrd certain Holes Cuts (...?...) Holes & Ditches Did make & the sd Cuts (...?...) Holes Cuts & Ditches so as afrd made doth yet continue & keep to the great Danger Stoppage & Hindrance of the Liege Subjects of our said Lord the King passing in & thereof the sd Common Highway and agit the peace of our said Lord the King Therefore he is amerced 1 And it is Commanded to him that he make up & fill the sd Cuts (...?...) Holes & Ditches so made by him in the sd the said High way before the first of (......) next coming upon pain of 20£

(It is intended to present one of the workmen who was employed in destroying the path Lord Newbro was the person by whose instructions the nuisance was committed But he does not reside within the Borough will it be proper to present one or more of the workmen)

And the Jurors afrd upon their Oath afrd fur present & say That (......) hath placed a certain Dunghill over and against his House near the Kings Highway in a certain Street called South Penrallt Street the said Street being the Kings Common Highway & situate in the Parish afrd in the Co afrd & within the Jurisdiction afrd Therefore he is amerced (......) and It is Commanded to him that he remove the same before (......) next coming upon pain of 5/-

Crown Street - Slaughter House

And the Jurors afrd upon their Oath afrd further present & say That Griffith Griffith late of the Town & Borough afrd & within the Jurisdiction afrd Joiner on the (......) day of (......) in the 8 year of the Reign of our Lord the now King and on divers other days & times as Well before or afterwards with force & arms at the (?) (?) and also certain Street Houses at Town & Borough afrd & within the Jurisdiction afrd near a certain Street there & within the Jurisdiction afrd a certain called Crown Street the said Street being the Kings Common Highway a certain Slaughterhouse did use and a great quantity of Dung & other filth continue and the Blood from the said Slaughterhouse there & within the Jurisdiction afrd did present & suffer & still do present & suffer to run and overflow into and upon the sd Kings Highway and the same Blood Dung and other filth (...?...) afrd from the Slaughterhouse afrd by reason whereof divers hurtful & unwholesome smells from the sd Blood Dung & other filth did then & there arise and thereby the air there & within the Jurisdiction afrd became (...?...) & is corrupted & infested to the Common Nuisance of all the Lieges and Subjects of our Said Lord the King to the (...?...) example of all others in the like Case offending and agit the Peace of our said Lord the King his Crown & dignity Therefore he is amerced £ (......) & It Is Commanded to him That he abate & discontinue the said Nuisance before the first of (......) next upon pain of £5

And the Jurors afrd upon their Oath afrd further present & say That Robert Gordon Roberts of the Town & Borough afrd and within on the (......) day of in (.....) in the 8 year of the Reign of our Lord the now King & on divers other days & times as well before as the Jurisdiction afrd Merchant hath placed & Caused to be afterwards, with force & arms & so forth hath placed & continued & still and Caused to be placed placed a Certain Dunghill near the & Continued & still doth Continue near the Kings Highway Did wrongfully and wilfully Keep & Continue a Certain Dunghill before in the Town & Borough afrd & within the Jurisdiction of this Then wrongfully and wilfully there and within the Jurisdiction afrd put & placed (...?...) a Certain Dunghill or By reason whereof divers Hurtful & unwholesome smells from the said Dunghill did then & there arise and thereby the air there & within the Jurisdiction afrd became (...?...) & is corrupted & infected to the Great damage & Common Nuisance of all the Ligues & Subjects of our said Lord the King to the (...?...) (...?...) near the same (...?...) of all of this in the like Case offending against the Peace of our Said Lord the King his Crown & dignity Therefore the sd Rob G Roberts he is amerced 2/6 & It is Commanded to him That he also remove the sd Dunghill before the first of (.....) next upon pain of 40/-
